Incident Response to Terrorist Bombing
Awareness Level Course With Medical Aid and Communications
After training the team members will be able to:
Describe the profile of a terrorist group;
Describe common explosive materials
and devices potentially used by terrorists;
Explain safe and effective awareness level response
procedures used in situations involving explosives
Describe the physical injuries associated with explosive blasts;
Relate first responder level first aid techniques to blast related injuries;
Given the proper equipment, demonstrate the use of tourniquets and clotting factor bandages;
Given the proper equipment, successfully communicate with other team members on handheld radios
And Satellite phone.
